Why
Diaper Need
Diaper need is the lack of a sufficient supply of diapers to keep a baby clean, dry, and healthy.
- 1 in 2 families struggle to provide clean, dry diapers for their children.
- A baby will use around 7,000 diapers before being potty trained.
- When a mother can't afford diapers, she will leave wet or dirty diapers on too long or scrape out the diaper and re-use it.
How
Bottoms Up Diaper Bank has a vision to end diaper need in the regions we serve. Partnering with local social service agencies, we provide free diapers to low-income families while raising awareness of the basic health need for diapers.
In order to meet the growing demand for diapers, Bottoms Up Diaper Bank is organizing the World's Largest Diaper Drive on May 1-31 to collect 1,000,000 diapers in one day!
